From Roger5

"I think the member should be banned from the site. Does anyone else think of the word “entrapment”? Why would a member make such a sincere offer (it had to sound sincere to get Taylor to go for it) and then turn right around and call Leo and report the incident? It makes no sense unless the intent all along was to “get” Taylor.

I believe all this could have been avoided if HM John had carried through on his now two year pledge to set up the Frat Fund to allow members to donate to a fratmen’s college expenses. Every Hostmaster show it seems we ask how the establishment of the fund is going and it’s always “I’ve been busy, but will get to it before…” If this fund had been in place there would have been a way for any member to donate money to a fratmen’s college and not put the fratmen at risk. Look at how well Taylor’s eBay paintings for college tuition experiment worked.

Do we know the entire story? No, and we probably never will. Already there are two versions; Taylor’s and Leo’s. I’m sure the truth is somewhere in there. Is Leo helping by clarifying the story? No. We will believe who we believe and a one sided justification is not going to help.

But the main thing to remember is that Fratpad is a fantasy reality site. They make up stuff all the time and feed it to us as truth, only to later discover it was all made up. How many times has Max & Taylor NOT going to be in the next season? In the grand scheme of things we are all just paying guest. When was the last time Leo ever took our advice?"

Roger i dont think the solution would be the fratmen fund. Its not up to members to pay for the education of the fratmen...i payed for mine ..they should pay for theirs. Hey, at 23 years old i wish i would have made the money he made at the pad. I'm assuming 1000 dollars a week, plus more for privates, and more for duos. *I'm not including the free room..and free food* They dont need more money, they need to be taught how to save and find other legal venues to pay for their education. Is leo an ass sometimes...YES..but he plays to the people he's watching and it works for him. He ounce had a private with a guy that only wanted to chew him out. Prediction..by next month..this whole thing will have blown over and ...fratpad will have even more members.

I SO agree with your Roger5. There should be legitimate ways to express one's appreciation to the Fratmen. One likes to "tip" for excellent service, and so much the better if it can be anonymous ore set aside for education. I only wish I had more to give them.

BTW, now we know why Leo won't show hole. Jostopa's head is in it. (_O_)

Sorry, but I never suggested that we should pay a fratmen's college tuition. What I said was that if the fund had been up and running, as John has said he would for the past two years, then there would have been a legal, established way for members to donate toward the tuition cost. As it is now we can send clothes, food & certain gift cards or other non-cash gifts. What got Taylor into this trouble, it seems, is the offer to send cash to pay for college. If there had been an established procedure for Taylor to have accepted this offer then this situation would not be. Again, Taylor was wrong in what he did, but if memory serves me, I seem to remember only one guy who has been able to resist all temptation. And he was of virgin birth.
As for Leo, I have known and loved him since the first days of the pad. Yes, he does play to his crowd –when he has a cam show. When he is not on cam for a scheduled “Leo Show” then he is in his capacity as Pad Manager and should act and speak accordingly. After all, it is he who keeps pointing out that he is now management.
Will this all blow over? Sure. Same thing when any popular fratmen leaves. Someone new and exciting will take their place, old members will leave… Time marches on. There will be a few who will not forget. Not the point. The point is that the temptation will still be there and there is an easy fix. The paperwork is all drawn up. All that is needed is for John to give the go-ahead to his lawyers.

ROG,

Noone could have put it more tactfully I agree the member should be banned!!If he is allowed to stay what other mess will he stir up-and the consequences could be far worse not only for the fratmen but for John and the company.Yes Taylor was also wrong but was there any other info leaked as far as the pad is concerned?? Only those involved know the answer. Given taylors track record here and all the spirit and success he has brought to the company--for management to overlook that is wrong in my eyes.If I was Taylor and that happened to me and mangement disreguarded me so easily-when in the case be so that they were not affected at all in the outcome of the situation- than I wouldnt want to work for them anymore.John and Leo as I say before u have given us a wonderfull place here find a way to keep it that way give Taylor the recognition and the chance to redeem himself and show him what an assett he has been for u folks.
Dont let it end this way!!

If I ever knew that Tay might need some extra financial help, I would've tried my best to help him by any means. He's like a best friend to me, and I WOULD help someone who shows his appreciation back to me in a genuine way. I had to pay for my own school expenses too. But I would STILL help my friend if I could. Cause I care. You're right Jostopa, it's not up to us to help a fratmen pay for their school expenses, that's not what it's about to begin with. It's about paying it forward, if you would like to. No one is twisting your damn arm. Damn penny pinchers. WHY DO PEOPLE WHO OBVIOUSLY DONT GIVE A RATS BUTT ABOUT TAYLOR EVEN CLICK THE LINK TO THIS BLOG? Cause, they're mad and jealous, and no one pays attention to them. I say let the damn member back. We'll tear it another asshole. That fucking cum guzzling queen....whoa..excuse my french. sry.

Well said Roger,

We do quickly forget that this is somewhat fanatasy. But reality has set in...Taylor is no longer present....Fratfund couldve prevented this by far....You addressed the issue well.

Jostopa,

We are all entitled to our own opinions and I definitely respect yours. The solution is not Fratfund I agree, but would definitely be a great option...You need to understand that some members have developed strong ties to the Fratmen and want to help them succeed in their future....Is it wrong?? Who are you and I to judge??? If you choose not to give to them, so be it. But if a member wants to, a system should be setup to allow it....Ultimately the fratmen are here to make money right??...you can disguise it, glam it up all you want, but they are here for money...the special friendships they make are real and something they choose...and not paid for....the point Im trying to make is this is a lesson learned for all of us. But why did it have to be Taylor to take the brunt of the punishment, when in my opinion all are at fault. When i say all I mean, FratPad managment, Taylor, and the conniving member.

And might I add...members have been banned for breaking the rules....their names have been stated clearly in chat and the reasons why....so with that said....why hasnt this member been disclosed and banned??? The rule is no personal contact with the Fratmen, and this member (knowingly and deceitfully) contacted Taylor with the intent to obtain personal information from him....Put that in your back pocket and think about it....

big man, your right the fratmen are there to make money. BUt how do you know that "the special friendships they make are real and something they choose." Isnt it in their best interest to keep you watching since one fratmen ounce said that their salary is based on percentage of people watching. Now im not saying thats true but it is something to think about.

And to the one saying im a "leolite"...haha good one. LEo has banned me three times already. I have been silenced, kicked, booted,,and banned three times. (and you know what..i deserved it....and i can still go back in)

To say or imply that some of the Fratmen are "using" members is a slap in the face of those that have established a friendship with that certain Fratmen. There were times in the past, where I have not logged in for awhile and I have other members sitemailing me or pm'ing saying a fratmen was asking about me and if everything was okay with me. Hell, most of my friends don't even bother to phone me until something bad happens. Now, before you say its because I sign up for privates and pay per views, guess what, I had a total of 5 privates and 1 pay per view in my entire time at the pad. But when a Fratmen sends a sitemail, unsolicited to make sure everything is okay with me, there has to be something genuine there.

Now, as far as the issue of the Fratfund is concerned. Like you, I am paying my own way through college, so I do not entirely agree with the Fratfund idea, but if someone wants to donate money, then that is there business. If someone wants to donate to me, it is not like I will stop them from doing so. The one major issue I had with the Fratfund was the comment that former Fratmen Collin made on one of his shows, that we didn't know where they came from and what type of financial background they had, for them to be in a position that they are. Basically, he said we should feel sorry for them and help them out. That definitely was not going to happen on my part, since he pretty much said he was looking for a handout.

Anyways, if there was a way to donate to someone who actually was trying to accomplish something and we visually saw it on camera, like Chase doing his homework while at the Hollywood pad or Taylor not being on cam, because of exams, then, yes, I would not mind helping out if I could. But to dangle money in front of these guys and use it as a bargaining tool for your own personal gain, you might as well go search craigslist and advertise yourself as a sugardaddy, looking for a "kept man".

Like someone else stated, there is enough wrong to be passed around in this situation, but it takes only one person to right that wrong, as far as we see it at this moment, no one wants to do the right thing.

Jostopa,

I completely understand where you're coming from...that idea can always be tossed around (how genuine are the relationships). But the thing is its all entirely up to you to decide. Whether the relationship is fake, real, whatever, its only you who can determine that. We as members like to give the benefit of the doubt, thinking although this is purely for business, what we share between the Fratmen is real. I can go on and on and try to justify myself to you or anyone but for what purpose?? Just because I BELIEVE my relationship with the Fratmen are genuine and not monetary generated doesn't mean the same goes for you or anyone else...Its my personal thing and I don't have to get approval from nobody and vice versa....I'm just trying to shed some light on a very sensitive subject....but when it all comes down to it...its us the members that have full control over our decisions, Pad friendships, and monetary donations...what I do here at the Pad(given Im following the rules ofcourse) should have no effect on you whatsoever...just like the reverse....thats why I strongly believe Fratfund would be a pivital asset to the Pad....and couldve prevented Taylors dismissal.
