No man is an island?

Make the Most of Life...
It's not enough to want more for yourself,
You need to come up with a plan
to make your life better.

It's not enough to want peace.
You need to look for ways
to plant the dream in other hearts.

It's not enough to blame someone else.
You need to ask how you
can help make it better.

It's not enough to say, "Someone should do it!"
You need to remember that you're somebody,
and you can do it.

It's not enough to preach about right and wrong.
You need to live by example
and let others learn by it.

It's not enough to say, "I tried!"
You need to try again. And if that
doesn't work, try and try again.

It's not enough to say, "I love you."
You need to show how much you care.

It's not enough to want to be loved.
You need to love yourself first,
and then love will come to you.

It's not enough to want change.
You need to take action for
mountains don't move on their own.

It's not enough to wake up in the morning.
You need to be thankful for another chance
to try this thing called "life."

It's not enough to just earn a living.
You need to build a fulfilling life and
take the time to enjoy its blessings.

It's not enough to dream.
You need to chase it to the stars and beyond
and remain determined to capture it.

It's not enough to begin.
You need to stick to your goal and commit
yourself to it before you find success.

It's not enough to pray.
You need to mean it in your heart and soul.

It's not enough to walk alone.
You need to share the journey with
others or life won't be complete.

It's not enough to read this wisdom.
You need to keep it in your heart and carry it
out into the world with you, and, share it with those you love.

I've come across this poem on a net site. The heart shaped island reminded of Taylor, who stole my heart and left.
I have so much to thank him for, I have so much love in my heart that I've felt for him, I've have so much hate in my heart to have been left the way it happened...
Give me my heart back Taylor, you don't need one more heart to add to your extensive collection.

Taylor didn't steal my heart.
I freely gave him just a part,
A part that's meant for him alone
To treasure now that he is gone.

I trust he holds it close & dear,
Somewhere that's safe, that's free of fear
From loss or theft, from time & rust,
Until his world turns into dust.

Much as my memories of him
Are prized like gold, thru thick & thin.
Though some are heaven, some are hell,
There isn't one I'd ever sell.
