An Open Letter

I really haven't said anything about my thoughts about Taylor leaving other then I miss him, I really do miss Taylor. I really consider Taylor a friend, I was so excited when he would return from his vacation with his family because we had come up with a plan to help him to maybe stay a little bit longer at the Pad. Taylor wanted to stay and I wanted to support him in that.

That said, Taylor made a mistake here. Taylor's mistake sent waves, so many waves, through our little community and it sucks. Other people I consider my friends I don't get to chat with anymore because of Taylor's mistake. It sucks there is no way around it. Just because someone is your friend doesn't mean you allow them to make a mistake and forgive them immediately. Friends need to be honest with each other and asking for Taylor to be forgiven based soley on him being popular is very childish. Taylor needed to suffer the consequences he received for his mistake. Please notice I refer to this as a mistake, because its not a reflection of Taylor's character to me, it was a slip in his judgement.

Taylor - I miss you, I remember the night Ty got sent home and you told us you wouldn't leave us on a rules break. I remember the Sunday morning we all talked about how we would be happy to see you go and celebrate you moving onto the next stage of your life. The mistake you made robbed us of that. It upsets me you made such a selfish decision. I wish you the best in everything, I hope you still consider me your friend, because I really would like to celebrate all of your successes in life as your friend.

Fletcher - We knew it was you before it was announced. How dare you try to act as if you had nothing but good intentions when asking Taylor for that information? You had specific intentions when offering Taylor money and you had specific intentions when coming forward. You had no wake up call and felt guilty for it, you were mad at Taylor for not catering to you. You were deliberate in what did and we all see it and know it. You are a dirty person. You want to help a disadvantaged youth, help one in your community. Taylor is no charity case for you to feel sorry for.

Pad management - I support the tough choice you had to make here and it sucks you had to make it. Thank you for the goodbye shift, saying goodbye is so important for the little bit of closure it offers everyone. I think this rule needs to be a hard one for any fratmen. However the waivering on possibly not banning fletcher makes me doubt your leadership. I feel he needs to be banned and any member who asks for private information should be warned its not tolerated. It takes two people to break that rule at the Pad and it needs to be enforced harshly.

Thanks for listening to me. I love being a knight, I love being a part of the kingdom. I hope we all stay in touch and we all remain friends.

Weekly Meeting

While several of King Taylor's knights are not renewing their Fratpad membership, I thought we could still get together once a week. Pochaco was gracious enough to set up a chatroom here on the blog, and it seems to work just fine. You don't have to "join" anything, just put in a username.

Rather than leaving it to chance, I thought it might be good to schedule a weekly chat so that those who would like to stay in touch will be sure to find "somebody home." To that end, I'd like to see what day & time would work best for the majority. If you would leave a comment indicating your preference between weekday or weekend, and one of these PDT times (late afternoon 2-4) (early evening 6-8) (evening 9-11) (late night 10-12), I'll see if we can find a slot that will work. You may want to indicate a first & second choice.

Obviously you need not stay the entire two hours or make every meeting, but it would be great to "assemble," even without our king. Who knows? Perhaps one day he might deem to join us!

New Chatroom

Knights, there is now a chatroom on the blog. This chatroom will serve as our means of communications with each other, especially for those who left the pad after Taylor's departure. When you feel like you want to talk, just login and see if there's anybody there to listen. We can all use this to catch up on how everybody's doing and to lend support to those who needs it. Taylor brought us all together and we will continue to honor that gift by remaining friends even after he'd long gone. Just type in your screen name and click on login at the sidebar and you should be able to enter the room.

It took me a few days to get my heart out of my throat to be able to sing this for you, Taylor. While the homemade quality isn't all that great, I know you'll overlook the mistakes and realize that it's the thought that counts — just one of the qualities that make you so SPECIAL! I miss you more than words can say.

An Open Letter to Fletcher

WHAT FOLLOWS IS FROM ME AND DOES NOT NECESSARILY REPRESENT THE ATTITUDE OF ANYONE ELSE IN THE COMMUNITY OF TAYLOR'S FANS. The zeitgeist here now is forgiving, apologizing, moving forward, which is completely admirable and I'm sure what Taylor wants us to do. I wish I could go along with that, but I'm not quite there yet. I have to get this off my chest first:

Dear Fletcher,

Dude, I knew it was you. A bunch of us did. But it was nice of Hostmaster John to confirm it during his chat, in what was maybe the only real piece of news during the show.

Taylor's biggest mistake was being naive and trusting enough not to realize what a piece of work you are. I mean, what kind of human being logs into the Pad constantly during his honeymoon?

I suppose you've already moved on to stalking your next prey, thanks to your free pass from Pad management. In parting, I would say, "Rot in Hell," if I believed in Hell. But then, I guess it's a certain kind of Hell just being who you are.

thank you for explaining to us the entire situation with taylor and giving us some closure. i think it's evident that we all LOVE taylor and respect taylor because he is a wonderful and kind human being. i would also like to apologize to both of you for being such a BITCH! LOL! (i really am nice ya know) lol! also, i would like to apologize to any members i have angered and annoyed this past week. as you all know, taylor is and will always be my favorite fratmen and i will stand by his side till the END! also, there was 2 positive things that came out of hosmasterjohns show:

1. hostmasterjohn said that he would NOT rule out taylor doing FMTV shows. thank you john :)

2. hostmasterjohn said that he would LOVE to work with taylor in some capacity in the future. :)

overall, i think this hostmaster hump day show was a SUCCESS!

i would also like to give a SPECIAL apology to LEO for being a jack ass! i hope you forgive me LEO?? i still LOVE you Leo and you too hostmasterjohn. i would like to thank both of you for making the FratPad what it is today, an amazing and special online community like NO OTHER!

You are never out of reach

Taylor, I will never feel like you are out of reach. Everyday I look up in and think of where you are and what you are doing. I hope everything is going well for you, as I have said always, I so appreciate you and I will never forget the friendship we have developed. I know I sound like a broken record (maybe that will be another post) but for now.. I can only put my hand up and hope that you reach out as well, you will stay connected through our hearts. I remember you always liked to look up at the sky at night and talk about the stars. We all should look up on a clear night and look at those stars together, knowing thats us all thinking about each other. Stay strong Taylor, I know you will. I miss you my friend.

If I Only Had a Heart

Hump Show

Hostmaster John will have his hostmaster hump show tonight at 6pm PDT. Please take the time to be there and show our unity and support for our cause of having Taylor allowed back at the pad. Together, we have strength and we can make it happen. I ask all of you to voice out all of your frustrations, disappointments, comments, questions, etc. in a respectful and orderly manner. We should show them that we are mature adults and we need to be talked to as such.

Let us all make Taylor proud!!

"I think the member should be banned from the site. Does anyone else think of the word “entrapment”? Why would a member make such a sincere offer (it had to sound sincere to get Taylor to go for it) and then turn right around and call Leo and report the incident? It makes no sense unless the intent all along was to “get” Taylor.

I believe all this could have been avoided if HM John had carried through on his now two year pledge to set up the Frat Fund to allow members to donate to a fratmen’s college expenses. Every Hostmaster show it seems we ask how the establishment of the fund is going and it’s always “I’ve been busy, but will get to it before…” If this fund had been in place there would have been a way for any member to donate money to a fratmen’s college and not put the fratmen at risk. Look at how well Taylor’s eBay paintings for college tuition experiment worked.

Do we know the entire story? No, and we probably never will. Already there are two versions; Taylor’s and Leo’s. I’m sure the truth is somewhere in there. Is Leo helping by clarifying the story? No. We will believe who we believe and a one sided justification is not going to help.

But the main thing to remember is that Fratpad is a fantasy reality site. They make up stuff all the time and feed it to us as truth, only to later discover it was all made up. How many times has Max & Taylor NOT going to be in the next season? In the grand scheme of things we are all just paying guest. When was the last time Leo ever took our advice?"

This post is bittersweet! For as we celebrate our 500th post, we are also mourning the loss of our beloved King. Normally, I would have a video prepared for this big milestone, but with the advent of the recent event, I don't know if I'm ready to make one yet. Heck, it's even hard for me not to break into tears just doing this.

Taylor, if you're reading this... WE MADE IT!! 500 posts Baby!! Although you are not around to celebrate with us, I know you are proud of this big achievement. Thank you for being the inspiration that you are to all of us Knights, you brought out the best in all of us. We all love you and we really miss you so much.

Thank you to all who helped make this happen. Great job everyone!

The Kingdom, even without it's King for now, will continue to move on forward. We will continue to bring smiles (and sometimes tears) to your faces and bring pride to Taylor. We will also continue to fight the battle to bring Taylor back to the pad. We are all in this together and we will never quit until we get our King back. Keep sending those emails out and never lose hope.

Someday, our King will come!!

ACT OF TRAVESTY

What is up with the indecision regarding the membership status of the member who turned Taylor in? This only shows how lacking the pad management is when it comes to good decision-making. What is hard to understand about this matter? Maybe I should make it even more clearer for them to see the real situation. Let's make an example here. If I set up a fratmen to break a pad rule, who is the bad guy? Yes, it's ME, and I deserve greater punishment. Another good example is the one Taylor used during his farewell show. The temptation of Adam and Eve. When God found out about it, he banished them from the garden of Eden (like how Taylor was banished from the pad), but what did God do to the snake? He took all his limbs off and said from then on, he will walk on his stomach. And wasn't the snake the devil? Hmmm! So why reward a devilish act, unless you're with the devil. Also, God being forgiving found in his heart to forgive mankind and took them back, not just once, but several times (which I hope HostmasterJohn will do in Taylor's case).

Another issue comes into play with regards to this matter. Something that should have been obvious to the management from the very start - Fratmen's privacy which in this case is Taylor's privacy. They always talk about how the rules are there to protect the Fratmen from this exact kind of member. This member is in possession of some vital information that can be hurtful to Taylor, especially if this member who obviously has something against him, is to remain a member and pass it on to other members. From the example above, he is the snake/devil that instigated this mess, and should be the one that is severely punished and not the other way around.

If they have some common sense, they shouldn't even have waited days to act on this matter. The snake should have been banished from the very start as a precautionary measure to prevent him from creating more damage, unless there is something going on that we don't know about. The way we see it, they view this malicious act as something heroic. "Ooooh, I succeeded in tempting Taylor, now I will turn him in". It's like giving this member rewards for being evil. So, don't even think that you can get away with this act of travesty, because we will always be vigil and continue to seek justice for Taylor.

JUSTICE FOR TAYLOR

Hi guys! I just finished watching all the goodbye videos on the blog and my emotions are still a li'l bit high. The last few days had been very difficult for me and I'm sure to all of you as well, and I figured it's time for me to speak how I feel and hopefully clear some things up.

I really feel sorry for Taylor because he didn't deserve any of the things that happened to him. He is the victim of one person's selfishness and I don't find him to be at fault at all. He was doomed to take the bait the moment this member came up with that horrible idea of setting him up. This member from the very start has only one intention when he made that offer - and that is to turn Taylor in. So he made this offer that is too good to pass up on and I'm sure anybody in Taylor's situation, at that moment, would have done the same as what Taylor did. Fall into the trap. Taylor's only fault, if at all, was to be a good fratmen which led to this member's obsession. (more on that on a later post).

This is what's making me angry the most. This is how the pad management should have viewed the situation. Instead, the incident was handled so poorly it still makes me feel sick everytime I think of it. Instead of going after the perpetrator of this malicious act, they went after Taylor's head without any consideration to what really happened. Taylor was treated like an outcast, like a criminal. I still feel a suspension would have been enough. It was Taylor's first offense and he exposed ONLY himself and the pad's security wasn't really compromised. I'm sure all of you will agree with me when I say Taylor had brought so much to the pad the whole time he was there, and for him to be treated that way is unacceptable. Funny how we always see members saying to other members that fratmen are not just a piece of meat, when in truth, it's the pad itself that treats the fratmen as such. To make matters worse, the boss came on cam right after Taylor said his goodbye, acting with arrogance and disregard to member's feelings of sadness and loss. Instead of being sympathetic, he made it look like this is what he really wanted to do and was just waiting for a slip up from Taylor. These actions are unethical and are not expected from a company official. And to add insult to injury, the member who created all this mess was in the chatroom while he was doing his show, disgusting!

Maybe it's time for the pad to have a person who can handle himself better when presented with situations like this. One who will act accordingly and fairly. I also hope the traitor to Taylor's trust get his due punishment, which is a lifetime ban from the pad. Not just his username, but the individual himself. If his act go unpunished, what is there to stop me or any other member from setting up other fratmen to commiting mistakes. I also wish the pad management will find the courage to admit to their mistakes and right what is wrong. It is not too late to reverse what has been done and it is always better than living with the consequences.

So now I call on all of you to never stop seeking justice for Taylor. Continue to express your sentiments to HostmasterJohn and ask for Taylor to be allowed back in the pad. Everybody makes mistakes and Taylor deserves a second chance.

Let's bring HONOR back to Taylor's name!

A Tribute to Taylor

As we all know, this blog that pochaco created has meant so much to Taylor. I want to thank pochaco very much for giving me the opportunity to post here. It's an honor. So with this, I'm posting a tribute to Taylor. Taylor, if you are watching, this is for you my friend.

The King's Farewell

This is what I wrote for you guys:

I’m leaving today simply because I messed up. I made a stupid decision that I will regret the rest of my life. I have given contact and bank information away to a member in hopes of doing so would help me with my future education expenses and financial stability. I have encountered many different types and sources of temptation while I have been here at the Pad. And I have always done correctly and resisted them.

This time was another routine example of temptation to accept financial security. But this time, it was a different type of temptation that I haven’t encountered before and didn’t know how to handle, and let greed get the best of me. I was put at ease by being told by the member that it would all be secret, kept quiet, and that it has even been done for other fratmen in the past without anyone finding out.

This time, I didn’t know how to handle the temptation, and I turned into a different person for just a short amount of time and gave away my information, only to feel shortly after like I had done wrong and was in doubt of my decisions — regretting them horribly — wanting to reverse what I had done, but it was too late.

I wish I had had the guts to tell Leo right after it happened, what I had just did, because that’s what I felt needed to be done. But I felt like that would have gotten me a plane ticket home as well. I was put in between a rock and a hard place, and I can’t blame that on anyone but myself.

At this point, all I really had was three options: one option being no one was going to find out and I would feel guilty for who knows [how] long (probably forever for giving out the information); or I could have spoke up and came out with it to Leo before I got in too deep and potentially got sent home; or Leo would simply find out the way he didn’t want to and that was thru the member that I gave the information to and definitely get sent home. I made the wrong decision. And that is why I’m going home tomorrow.

I feel horrible for the actions I have done, and I want to sincerely apologize to all of you and to everyone associated with this company. I never wanted to seem or act like I could beat this system, or anything of that kind. I just let greed and selfishness get the best of me.

I have learned from this mistake like I have from all of my mistakes in life, and this has made me a stronger person. It’s just unfortunate that I had to learn the hard way. But sometimes that’s just how it works. We have to learn the hard way sometimes.

The Pad has made me a better, more understanding person, and I have and never will regret my decisions for coming here. This last year has been the time of my life, getting the opportunity to do so many things like travel, establish financial stability, and meet so many wonderful and interesting people. Every day I turned on my cam to start my show… [breaks down here] It’s funny because I … it wasn’t this damn hard to read the thing before I came on cam, so I’m sorry. This is really difficult. I never wanted it to end this way… never…[sobs] Let me finish the little bit I have here.

I will never forget everything the Pad has given me, and I am extremely thankful for that. I will continue my quest in education when I leave here, and one day I will be proud to let you all know that I have succeeded in school by informing Leo or by having the opportunity to tell you all myself.

I love you all very much and I always will. And I will never forget all of this and most importantly, all of you. I wish you all love, happiness, good health, and success for all of your futures and nothing but the best. This has been the time of my life, and thank you all for giving me this opportunity. OMG, we are in week #9 and it's already August. isn't it funny how time flys when you're having FUN. lookie loo at who is #1 this week. why it's FMLeo! YAY!! :) Finally, Leo conquers the stock challenge and now is officially the BRIDE and NOT the bridesmaid. LOL! Leo has been going around telling people that he plans to win this contest so NOBODY will win a FREE memberships. lol! what a BEEEE-yatch!!! lol! It is hard to believe that it has been almost one year since I first met you. As we come up on your first full year, I am still amazed at the love you give and receive. It's a testament to the person you are. We have shared laughter and tears and so many good times. Since coming to the pad to be with you, I have met many wonderful people as well.
